Anywho I began to come around to the mammoth task of painting them using OSL and wet blending techniques, something I've been thinking about for a while. I wanted to try something that would challenge my painting abilities in a big way and trust me, the annihilation barge took some doing! Here's my first attempt at it...it took me 7 days!
That looks FANTASTIC! Really dig the color combo, the yellow spot color is great, and the blending on the panels is inspired. Great work, man!
ReplyDeleteThank you Mordian, those are very kind words as always. I'm a bit annoyed with the photo quality, the reds pop a lot more in reality. Also the varnish clouded on me!!! so everything's more muted than I'd like but there's no way I'm re painting it!!! No way, it's good enough as it is :p
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the engagement!
