Scratch Built Adepta Sororitas! Now with Paint!

Hello all,

It has been a while I must confess but work is as work does. I have been crawling along with my sisters of battle at a leisurely pace and now I can confidently claim...with evidence, that I have finished painting all the sisters I currently have converted. That's 5 :p

  3. Thanks guys, I'm glad you like them :) I hoping they will be quite the sight all together on the table top! I'm just a bit concerned that by the time I've finished, GW will have released brand new plastic sisters and obsoleted my efforts! Oh wait no, that's not happening :p

  4. I just stumbled on your blog and I'm really amazed ! Your work is more than great, it's geat+++. It definitivly motivate me to do the same. Some questions : I know where this head come from, I ordered them for test. But I found them too small. Could you give an example of your model next to a GW one just for comparison ? Thank you !

  5. Hi David, I'm glad you like them :) I have an image on my BaC WIP thread of a sister with an Imperial Guardsman. Here's the link: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/283903-building-a-multi-part-sisters-of-battle-kit/

The heads are a little small yes but the trick is in the prospective that you create with the model as a whole. I wanted the sisters to look small in their armour, it's power armour after all :) So I sink the heads in ever so slightly to give the impression that they're encased. The problem is that the 28mm heads Statuesque does are too large (there's a comparison shot in my WIP thread somewhere). I hope that helps :)
